As of July 25th the worst movie of 2013! Ryan Gosling must have had a petit mal seizure, (expressionless, he moves as if connected to a morphine drip) along with Kristen Scott-Thomas to denigrate their skills portraying a mother/son wallowing in drug-infested Bangkok; revenging the death of an older son/brother, after he rapes and murders a sixteen-year-old girl. Every taboo of modern times is flaunted sensationally, ad nauseam: incest, erectile dysfunction, torturous mutilation, vivisection, plus the foulest language spawned, indiscriminately, senselessly, solely for shock value.
I do not know about God (whose name is taken in vain) but I could never forgive director Nicholas Winding Refn (“Drive”) for visiting upon audiences this disgusting, repulsive, abhorrent slice of detritus.

Thanks for the heads up.
I felt DRIVE was a poor excuse for a homage to film noir as well.
That film had no soul and existed on one level. When Ryan literally kicks the brains out of his would-be attacker in the elevator, my suspicions were confirmed. BANKRUPT.
I can only imagine how much further down the hole this new film leads us.
